Global International Relocation in Portugal has announced the acquisition of Starmuseum, a well-known company in the fine art logistics sector. The company said that this strategic move marks the beginning of a new chapter, combining strengths and expertise, to offer a more robust and globally connected service to its clients.
In a press release the company said that the acquisition will bring to its own fine arts division, Global Fine Arts, an array of strategic assets that will enhance its position in the fine arts sector. These include: a high security 500m2 warehouse in Lisbon; six specialised vehicles; and a team of experienced professionals.
“We are incredibly excited for the times ahead,” said Jorge Gomes, Chief Executive Officer at Global International. “This acquisition not only strengthens our position as a leader in global logistics but also provides us with a unique opportunity to build a world-class fine art logistics division. With the strategic assets acquired and the addition of new experts to our team, we are poised to offer an even more comprehensive and secure service to our clients.”
As part of the acquisition, all assets previously held by Starmuseum, including its experienced team, facilities, and resources, will be integrated into Global Fine Arts.
Clients can expect a seamless transition, with no disruption to ongoing services. The same dedicated professionals will continue to provide the high level of service that Starmuseum clients have come to trust, now under the new name of Global Fine Arts.
“The integration of these resources and expertise allows us to elevate the service we provide to our clients,” added Jorge Da Costa, President & Founder. “This is a key step in expanding our capacity and reach, while ensuring that the highest standards of technical precision and security are maintained in every aspect of our operations.”
