On 7 February, 2024, the MOBILITAS Group announced that it had acquired Santa Fe Holdings Limited, the parent company of Santa Fe Relocation and Sanelo. The company said that this strategic move represents a significant milestone for both organisations and sets the stage for accelerated growth, innovation, and enhanced value for customers.
The press release said that the acquisition would continue to expand the reach and market strength of the MOBILITAS Group. It added that Santa Fe Holdings Limited brings a wealth of expertise, a diverse customer base, and a portfolio of cutting-edge solutions. By joining the MOBILITAS Group, Santa Fe Relocation and Sanelo will benefit from synergies that drive innovation, maximise operational efficiencies, and deliver unique value to customers.
“We are very pleased to welcome Santa Fe Relocation and Sanelo to the MOBILITAS Group,” said Cédric Castro, CEO of the MOBILITAS Group. “Our Group has extensive experience in operating multiple brands within various industries with each brand growing in its own market segment independently. Within the MOBILITAS Group Santa Fe Relocation’s and Sanelo’s stories will continue and they will flourish.”
Samuel Mergui, a member of the MOBILITAS Group Management Board, will take over as CEO of Santa Fe Holdings Limited.
Santa Fe Relocation is a global mobility company made up of 1,300 people, speaking 66 languages, working in 64 offices, in 38 countries, covering the entire relocation journey: assignment management, compensation and expenses, corporate immigration, destination services, and moving services.
“This is the best possible outcome for Santa Fe, Sanelo, our colleagues, clients and partners,” said Yann Blandy, former Executive Chairman at Santa Fe and Sanelo, and Runar Nilsen, former CEO. “Whilst we are sad to be leaving an organisation we have come to love, we have passed the baton to very capable hands and are both looking forward to seeing how much further Santa Fe and Sanelo will grow as part of the MOBILITAS Group.”
