International movers move people overseas every day. But recently, DeHaan in The Netherlands, took on a different kind of move across the water.
In November 2024, De Haan relocation delivered a container to a windmill that was accessible only by water. The move took place at the stunning Kinderdijk Unesco World Heritage site and used a pontoon to float the container to and from the remote site. The moment was made even more dramatic as it was the farewell of a miller who had lived at the Kinderdijk mill for 50 years.
Believing in ‘Business as force for good’ De Haan endeavours to leave the world a better place for generations to come and supports the windmills wholeheartedly as a sponsor.
