JK Moving Services in the USA has announced new appointments for its commercial and residential teams. Mike Coleman has joined JK Moving Services, as executive vice president, Commercial Services, reporting to JK President David Cox. In this newly created role, Mike heads commercial services and will lead all aspects of business unit growth, profit, and performance.
“We welcome Mike to the JK family,” said David Cox, president, JK Moving Services. “His industry experience, strategic skills, and success in leading operational transformation are important as we build to drive growth in existing and new sectors.”
David also announced Eric Ball as a new member of the team as senior vice president Sales and Business development for Commercial Services. “Eric brings a wealth of experience to directing outside sales and business development initiatives,” he said.
Prior to JK, Mike served as vice president, operations and business strategy at PODS, a nationwide moving and storage company. He has held a variety of leadership roles at Union Pacific Railroad, including general director of corporate strategy.
In his new role, Eric is responsible for the strategy, staffing, and execution of the sales and client relations functions for the Commercial Services business unit. Most recently, he served as senior vice president and general manager at AVI-SPL.
In other personnel news, JK promoted Davy Shanko to vice president, operations and general manager, Residential Services, and leads an experienced team of business development and household goods warehouse operations experts. Before JK, he served in operations roles at Suddath Relocation Services and Graebel Van Lines. Also, Yama Abbasi joined the Residential Services team as manager of outside sales and business development. He previously held business development positions at DMV Living and Redfin.
