AGM Group Announce the Acquisition of The Senior Move Partnership

AGM Relocation Ltd (AGM Group) has announced the acquisition of The Senior Move Partnership, a specialist senior relocation services provider based in the UK.

Celebrating its tenth anniversary this year The Senior Move Partnership provides high quality, sensitive, bespoke, specialist relocation services to the senior living sector. This acquisition sees AGM Group adding to its portfolio of market leading removal and relocation brands.

The Senior Move Partnership will further expand AGM Group’s service support nationwide and is a perfect fit to the group’s strategy to meet the diverse needs of their clients.

Effective from the acquisition:

  • The Senior Move Partnership will continue to operate throughout their existing network of partners within the UK.
  • Clients will have full access to The Senior Move Partnerships services and benefit from all AGM Group brands.
  • Service between The Senior Move Partnership and its clients will continue uninterrupted and will not be affected.

OMNI Sustainability Seminar: Number 5

Asian Tigers helps with earthquake relief in Cianjur

Legal Entity change for Asian Tigers in Indonesia

Bill Lloyd, Managing Director of Asian Tigers in Indonesia has advised that the legal name of the business has changed from PT Citra Air (trading as Asian Tigers Indonesia) to PT Citra Nusantara Logistik.  The change came into effect on 1st January 2023. The company will still trade as Asian Tigers Indonesia. This change in name comes as the result of the recently announced Management Buyout (MBO) agreement between Gerry Lane and Bill Lloyd.

Freight Systems India, trading as Interem, has joined OMNI (Overseas Moving Network International).  Interem is a subsidiary of Freight Systems and, in practice, has been company’s household goods division in India for approaching 30 years.  Its sister company in Dubai is already an established member of the OMNI network.

Before joining the Asian Tigers Group Tim spent six years working at a Hong Kong based IT company. In this role, his responsibilities included managing the development, implementation, sales, and marketing of web-based software and mobile apps for relocation and visa & immigration providers worldwide. Before his role in Hong Kong, Tim also worked in the IT department of a global relocation management company in North America.

OMNI (Overseas Moving Network International) has announced that it has become the winner of this year’s Best Global Mobility Sustainability Initiative of the Year award at the EMMA awards for the EMEA region, presented by the Forum for Expatriate Management.  The award was given jointly to OMNI and Johan de Kam, trainer, academic and consultant who has been presenting a series of Sustainability Workshops to OMNI and FIDI members throughout 2022. The award was announced at a black-tie ceremony held at the Royal Lancaster Hotel in London on Wednesday 2 November.
