Santa Fe acquisition prompts management changes within Mobilitas

Following its acquisition of Santa Fe – and Samuel Mergui’s subsequent appointment as Santa Fe CEO – the Mobilitas Group has reorganised some of its senior management positions.

Under the new structure Nathalie Jeanneau assumes the role of AGS’s chief commercial officer. Nathalie, who has been the director of the AGS Africa Network since joining AGS in 2018, has consistently shown her strength in business growth. As such, she will now oversee business development for AGS globally in all three divisions: removals, relocation, and records management.

Taking over from Nathalie is Thomas de Mallmann, with the title of COO African Network. Thomas joined AGS in 2003 under the Volunteer for International Experience (VIE) programme, a scheme that places young French graduates into the international subsidiaries of French companies to give them international business experience.

Within the last 21 years, Thomas has held various roles within AGS, proving himself extremely capable in each. The company said that his appointment as COO for Africa is a natural and well-deserved progression of his career.

In parallel, Edwin Ooms becomes COO European Network. Edwin is currently the CEO of Mobilitas’s Dutch subsidiary the Noble Group, itself a conglomerate of four companies. The company said that it was, however, always understood that – given his vast industry experience – he would go on to play a larger role within Mobilitas. Now is the time for that to happen.

At Mobilitas level, Ido Barner steps up to become executive vice president of technology, partner relations and support services. This new role sees him further expand his portfolio of responsibilities, which have grown from year to year.

Currently, everyone is in a transition phase as they hand over their previous responsibilities. They will be fully operational in their new roles from 1 January, 2025.
